Denise is the product of a Naval Military family. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts with a major in criminal justice and a minor in speech communications. Fifteen years as a sales executive with BellSouth offered Denise and her family the opportunity to move seven times before settling in beautiful Central Virginia.
Denise has been a member of the Virginia REALTORS® Board of Directors since 2016 and is honored to have served as President of the Board in 2022.
Prior to her service on the VAR board, she served on the Board of Directors for the Charlottesville Area Association of REALTORS (CAAR), from 2008 to 2014 including serving as President of the Association in 2013. Denise was inducted into the Virginia Association of REALTORS® Honor Society in 2010 and has been involved continuously since then.
In 2013 Denise was honored as the Charlottesville Area Association of REALTORS® Sales Associate of the Year. Denise was also voted REALTOR® of the YEAR in 2015 by the Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors. In 2024, she was thrilled to be selected as the Virginia Realtor® of the Year by her peers.
